History
Mandata started life in the early 1970's as a "man-and-van" operation based in the Manchester area. This expanded with the acquisition of a number of regional contracts, delivering equipment to bank branches and electricity board shops, and by the mid 70's an impressive client base of blue-chip companies were on board for their overnight and regular transport.
As business grew steadily and consistently throughout the early years, Mandata acquired bigger sites, finally moving to the current premises in East Manchester in 1988, when large scale storage was added to the portfolio. In addition, satellite operations for the transport network were set up, supporting the ever-growing commercial fleet.
In recent years, with transport and storage now well established, Mandata has started to offer other complementary services, such as recycling. By understanding customer working environments and keeping up to date with legislation, Mandata has become a provider of a full range of Facilities Services, both locally and in many other parts of the country. Having suitable vehicles, experienced and helpful staff, storage space and resources as well as a keen interest in helping customers achieve their goals - all this has made Mandata an essential business partner for many companies.
Looking back at the development of the company, now in its 4th decade, it is a testament to the standard of service and keen pricing that some of the contracts have remained unbroken since the earliest years. Mandata are trustworthy and have always delivered on promises, safeguarding customer reputations.
